The Nature Ketubah

Two streams converge to create a lake, where Nature is reflected and fish, a symbol of life in Jewish tradition, swim. This ketubah was made for people who want Nature to be reflected in their marriage, where their two lives converge into one. Yosemite Park and Zion Park, where my husband and I celebrated our 43rd anniversary in 2012, are the main inspiration for the views I chose for this ketubah. The Bridal Veil waterfall and Half Dome are on the right, and pink, red, and brown cliffs similar to those of Zion, are on the left. Around the lake and near the two streams are redwood trees, birches, pines, aspens, firs, maples, and willows, some with fall colors, to suggest the passage of time; as well as wild flowers, like Indian Paintbrush, lupine, and California poppies, and some animals (the chipmunk was requested by my 5 year old grandson, Oren). This print has been printed in the giclee technique on archival, 140 lbs. 100% rag paper. Colors are non-fading, for at least 85 years.
